Recent updates to Chrome mean WORD documents won’t download when a link is clicked. Below is the work around for this.
To download WORD documents.
- Right click on the link of the document you wish to download.
- Select the “SAVE LINK AS” option
- It will then prompt you to save the file to a location on your computer. Save the file to your computer.
- After saving the file a message will appear at the bottom of the browser window.
- It will say [file name] can’t be downloaded securely, with an option ‘discard’ highlighted, change this to ‘keep’
- Please call SIAG on 03 9644 1400 if you have difficulties.
